weekly lillypie shop update ((moonstone, lollipop brooch, new headband colors))

Happy Monday, my friends! I have a few updates to share with you today.

First up is a new necklace--  a dainty vintage moonstone necklace.
Back in December I ordered a  set of these precious stones and I'm just now getting around to making a necklace with them.  I debated putting a cluster or just a single stone on a necklace and decided to go with just one. There is something elegant and chic about a single stone hitting right at your collar bone. ;) I also love the way the light seems to reflect the colors that you're wearing.

The second update I have for you is some new dainty rolled heabands.  I made several of the classic colors like violet, cabaret magenta, and coral---but I also got a little CRAZY and made a few in lemon, celery, white, and red. Forgot to snap a picture of the lemon....it's adorable--you'll just have to trust me.

One more restock is the very popular Lollipop Brooch. I just love this flower to pieces. It literally matches everything. It's a wonderful little  summer accessory. I love wearing mine clipped to a solid tank.

Several other designs were restocked this weekend. Be sure to jump over to the lillypie shop and check them out.  Since all these lovelies are ready to ship---my turn around time is ONE DAY and a lot of the time SAME DAY.  How's that for fast, speedy service with a smile?  ::big grins::

All purchases made by Tuesday AM WILL BE in your hands in time for your Independence Day celebrations. Pinky!

Weekly Lillypie Shop Update ((NEW necklace design))

Welcome to my first SHOP UPDATE since rolling over to Ready to Ship last week! I tell ya, it's been nice knowing that all the accessories I'm making are traveling to new homes SUPER FAST.  I also really loved sneaking in some time last week to create just for me.  It's important for me to do that. I  made two new necklaces for myself and did a bunch of crafty fun projects for my kids new SHARED room. I'll post pictures soon. ;)

One of the necklaces I made came from a super fun and MUCH NEEDED girls night with my best friend, Holly. It's actually her design---she picked out the beads! We both loved it so much that I decided I should list it in my shop for you!

It's a shorter necklace measuring about 16" ((which makes it perfect for layering!!! IMO)). The peach quartz rondelles look fab on any skin tone. I also personally REALLY love the off center rectangular jade stones. The stones look like my favorite color for the season, seafoam/ mintish.

Anyway, I made two extra this week. You can purchase the Holly Jean Necklace by clicking this LINK to my shop! I only have two---once they sell I don't know when I'll be making more. So by all means if  it makes your heart flutter like it does mine---don't wait. ;)

I wish I had more designs to upload for you today. I really do. I'm hoping to have more in the weeks to come. Don't forget that I do still have several adorable headband styles that are ready to fly like my Penelope Headband and the popular Nora Whitney.

Have a wonderful Monday, gals! Remember to check back every Monday to see what's new!

a lovely locket ((february exclusive))

My grandma gave me a heart shaped locket when I was seven with a picture of my parents in it. It was  my first "real gold" and was the most expensive thing I owned until I lost it when I was eight....

I remember that locket because it was special to me. I opened and closed that thing until my fingers hurt. I even remember my second grade teacher, Mrs. Reed, announcing to the class that " Whomever is making the clicking noise repeatedly needs to stop". I was caught and my clicking locket was to blame. I think I was red with embarrassment until recess. Of course it was my PARENT'S fault because I was looking at their pictures.

Anyway enough stories--I stumbled upon a handful of gorgeous vintage lockets back in December and snatched them up. I've been holding onto them until now and I'm so excited to share them with you. Here's why I've held onto them.

February=Valentine's Day= Love= Jewelry= Lockets= looking at those you love all day= Awwww = Valentine's Day = February

Makes sense right?

I  have a  ((very)) limited number of these lockets available during February. What a great gift for or from someone you love! I added vintage moonstone and turquoise charms to accent the oval locket. I also tied some mulberry satin ribbon to add a pop of color and variant texture. Charms can be added or removed according to your taste.

Dainty. Vintage. Romantic. Darling. :)

I love the locket layered with other shorter necklaces. I placed it over one of my new necklaces from my heart strings collection in this photo.

I was only able to get my hands on a limited amount of these lockets. Don't wait too long or they'll be gone!

Ready to shop?! Here's a link!

**but my valentine doesn't read your blog!!! or know you exist!!! Go to etsy. Heart it. Email the link. and politely tell him that flowers die and you'd rather wear his handsome face around  your neck anyway. ;) orrr....buy it for yourself. February= love. Even if it's self love. ((wink))

PURCHASE BY FEBRUARY 8th TO GUARANTEE DELIVERY BEFORE FEB. 14th.

Heart Strings ((a NEW mini collection))

I've been a busy bee. I have a new mini-collection of necklaces that I'm giddy for you to see!

My inspiration for my little necklace collection are the imaginary strings that tie you to a person. The feeling that your hearts are connected regardless of your location. The idea that this person fills your heart with so much joy and love that you're tethered together at the heart.  A delicate desire to be near.

Those of you that have been to my shop this week might have seen my new little gems. The whole shop got a little update!

All the designs are  intricate, soft, and whimsical. All stones and pendants are vintage 1970's pieces. The perfect combination of new and old, delicate and strong.

All pieces ((with the exception of the locket--coming soon!)) are available for hearting, pinning, and purchasing right now in my SHOP ((http://www.lillypieaccessories.etsy.com/)).

What do you think?

My Adorable Winter Package friends should be REALLY excited because they have one of the brand new designs en route to their house as we speak. ((yaaaayyyy!))

new logo {reveal}

I'm committed to my husband.
I'm devoted to my daughter.
I'm trustworthy to my friends
I'm reliable to my family.

But I struggle with fidelity when it comes to my blog design. (sowrry.)

So I have this friend, Leonora, who happens to design amazing graphic prints--

Her shop, Yellow Heart Art is one of my favorites. I think I've hearted most of her designs. She prooobbably gets tired of seeing my face pop up in her etsy feed (sowwrrry).

I called upon Leonora to help me finally get a logo for lillypie. I sent her my sketch.

She sent me her design.

and voila!

I hope you feel comfortable here and cozy up for a bit! There are lots of exciting things happening here.

roMOD--what it is,and why you'll love it

I'd like to introduce you to my newest headbands!   They are what I like to call romod{romantic/modern}.I love the way they make a statement yet are not over-powering. They are for the girly girl--whether she's little, big, or in between. I was really inspired by layered flowers of varying textures-satin, chiffon, felt, crepe, and cotton.  Oh, and lace--duh. I have a love affair with lace.

I hope you like them. They will be making their lillypie debut at my *first* show here in a few days! Once I see how they sell and receive feedback I'll be listing these little romos  in my little neglected shop. I just *know* they are gonna make momma proud!

New Product DEBUT {the SaraMarie)

I have a new necklace to show you today. It's my new favorite. I combines everything that I love--ruffled posies, chiffon, light reflecting beads, faux pearls, and bronze chain. BOOM. :)

It's name is the SaraMarie. Sara is a friend of mine who also happens to be a co-worker as well. We're both teachers and it just so happens that we'll both be teaching 2nd grade next year. WOMP! She's a strong, sensitive, caring, bright and sunshiney, resilient working momma. Us working moms are tough--and she represents what I strive for lillypie to be.

miss saramarie
 --the model--the teacher--the momma-the awesome--

This necklace is available in three color combinations right now--but look for more in the future. I'm really wanting to try a navy and chartreuse color combo {more on those amaze colors later}.

So what do you think? What color combination would YOU like to see?  I'd love feedback on this new design. Perty please? ;)
