Heart Strings ((a NEW mini collection))

I've been a busy bee. I have a new mini-collection of necklaces that I'm giddy for you to see!

My inspiration for my little necklace collection are the imaginary strings that tie you to a person. The feeling that your hearts are connected regardless of your location. The idea that this person fills your heart with so much joy and love that you're tethered together at the heart.  A delicate desire to be near.

Those of you that have been to my shop this week might have seen my new little gems. The whole shop got a little update!

All the designs are  intricate, soft, and whimsical. All stones and pendants are vintage 1970's pieces. The perfect combination of new and old, delicate and strong.

All pieces ((with the exception of the locket--coming soon!)) are available for hearting, pinning, and purchasing right now in my SHOP ((http://www.lillypieaccessories.etsy.com/)).

What do you think?

My Adorable Winter Package friends should be REALLY excited because they have one of the brand new designs en route to their house as we speak. ((yaaaayyyy!))

Show time. Booth Display. Warm and Fuzzies.

Well that was an unintentional break. Three weeks go fast especially when you are busy perfecting your SMEYESING. Fierce?

No. Seriously.

So I had a show. Mah first big one. and it was fun! and i loved it!and! and! and!

I really enjoyed meeting my customers.  They were really sweet and some made a special trip just to see me. I was beyond flattered.  I worked really hard to create a booth display that screamed lillypie without screaming at my customer. I really enjoyed creating a space and could probably go around setting up booths around town and be perfectly happy skipping and humming along.
I debuted a lot of new pieces at the sale and recieved some wonderful feedback. I really love the combination of heather seafoam and cranberry--and luckily so do my customers. I sold out of 10 designs while there and was doing a happy dance all the way home.  I was beyond nervous for this show. Putting myself and my designs that I think are pretty is one thing on the interwebs.  I'm still hidden. At a show, I'm sitting right there. Vulnerable. GULP.

Thank you to all my friends! I felt so supported and uplifted through your sweet comments and tweets. I'm loving this little handmade community I've stumbled upon. You're all so sweet. I'm smiling from ear to ear on my side of the screen.

plain to shazaaaam flower

So I saw this flower the other day on I AM MOMMA HEAR ME ROAR. It's actually from TREY AND LUCY.  ::p.s. she tells ya how to make one!:: I fell in love with this flower.  GORG, right? I think it's the combination of stiff broadcloth fabric and delicate folding and wrapping that makes it just so beautiful. I had EVERY intention of making one of them this weekend. BUT--I couldn't seem to peel myself away from this gal.

and  Saturday my hubby went and turned 30

I finally had some time to create today. Here's mine. I AM IN LOVE.

The possibilities are endless for this beauty. I added it to a hat my roommate in college knitted for me many moons ago. . PLAIN to SHAAZAAAM. :)

I attached a bar pin to the back so that I could move it all around. I placed it on a pillow to see if I wanted to sew one on a plain pillow. I think I should add another layer to make it thicker. Right?

I'll be adding some of these flowers to brooch pins soon and adding them to my shop.  Would you like one? Where would you put it?
